Community Educator Scholarships
The Community Educator Scholarship is intended for individuals working with people living with HIV within community or voluntary organisations. This scholarship supports those who play an active role in education, advocacy, and community engagement. By attending the Congress on a scholarship individuals agree to share the knowledge and insights gained within their local and/or national communities and networks.
Please note that this award is not open to healthcare professionals or physicians working in the field and submission of an abstract is not a requirement when applying for this type of scholarship.
All applications will be reviewed by an expert panel from the Scientific Committee in June 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of July 2026.
Several scholarship types are available, from virtual and in-person registrations to full packages covering registration, accommodation, and travel to Glasgow. Applicants should indicate which type they are seeking.

Healthcare Providers Working in Resource-Limited Settings
This scholarship is intended for healthcare professionals and physicians with substantial involvement in HIV treatment and the care of people living with HIV in resource-limited settings. Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to sharing the knowledge and insights gained at the Congress with their local teams and wider professional communities and networks. Submission of an abstract is not a requirement when applying for this type of scholarship.
All applications will be reviewed by an expert panel from the Scientific Committee in June 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of July 2026.

Early Career Researcher Award
If you are interested in being considered for an Early Career Researcher award, please submit your abstract using the link below. To be eligible to apply for this award you must have less than 3 years post-doctoral experience OR be a training grade doctor at the time of the Congress.
All applications will be reviewed by an expert panel from the Scientific Committee in July/August 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 14 September 2026.
Successful applicants may receive either a virtual or in-person registration or, if their abstract is considered to be of particularly high quality and interest, an in-person registration, accommodation, and travel to Glasgow.
