A Welcome from the Co-Chairs
We are delighted to invite you to join us for HIV Glasgow 2026, 8–11 November, as the global HIV community comes together once again in Glasgow – and online – to explore what’s next in HIV.
This is an exciting and important time for our field. From advances in long-acting treatment and prevention and the potential of new therapeutic approaches, to the realities of ageing with HIV, comorbidities, resistance and lifelong care, science continues to move forward at pace. At the same time, inequalities in access, community perspectives, changing patterns of transmission and the challenge of translating innovation into meaningful improvements for people living with remain firmly in focus.
HIV Glasgow 2026 will bring together new science, clinical experience, and intentionally diverse regional perspectives from across the globe. Expect late-breaking data, thought-provoking plenaries, discussion, and debate, including the difficult questions that need to be asked as we look towards the future of HIV prevention, treatment, and care.
We pride ourselves on striving for equity in terms of the gender representation of our speakers, chairs and panellists and place a strong focus on representation of multiple regions and on hearing from rising talents and young scientists.
Just as importantly, HIV Glasgow is about connection. A much-valued USP is that almost all sessions take place in one room so that we can truly I exchange ideas, challenge thinking, learn from one another and reconnect with colleagues and friends from across the international HIV community. We aim to deliver a meeting that is scientifically stimulating, practical, engaging and enjoyable for all those involved in HIV care. Discussions will be firmly connected to everyday clinical practice.
There is much to discuss, much to challenge and much to be excited about. We very much hope you will be part of it.
